Officials found several spots that were selling alcohol to people under 21

Last week the common council agreed to let the provision expire that allowed underage patrons to enter bars in the chippewa district.  Underage patrons ARE allowed in different parts of the city and are NOT allowed to drink unless they are 21.

There’s always a dispute between whether or not it’s a good idea for parents to let their teenagers drink alcohol. Does it discourage use later? Does it prepare them for when theyre in college? Iis it a good or bad idea to let them drink early and is it OK if theyre not out of control? I have way to much of an opinion on this. There's a new plan in Albany that would allow large sports stadiums in New York State to begin selling beer earlier. The plan's sponsors think the move would cut down on tailgating and underage drinking. What do you think?
