The Maritime Festival starts today (Friday) and runs all weekend at Canalside but the festivities kicked off yesterday with the arrival of the tall ships Lynx and Peacemaker!

Here is the Lynx announcing it's arrival to Canalside with the fire of a cannon!

If you plan to head down to the Maritime Festival this weekend at Canalside, here are a few things to keep in mind:

- On Saturday September 14 ONLY, Canalside streets (Prime, Lloyd, Hanover) will be closed to car traffic but there will be a **free parking shuttle service** available from 10 am-6 pm from the First Niagara Center Parking lots at the corner of Perry & Mississippi Streets and they will take you to Canalside and back.

- On Friday & Sunday, there will be a limited number of street parking spaces available at Canalside but there will be plenty of parking within a 2-3 block radius! A parking map can be found here: www.canalsidebuffalo.com/directions

Tonight (Friday) is movie night at Canalside and there will be a screening of "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" for free as well as trivia starting at 7:30! Bring a picnic and some blankets- it might be a little chilly! The movie itself will start at about 8 pm!
