It was announced on Wednesday that the first U.S. patient diagnosed with the Ebola virus has died.Thomas Duncan caught the deadly virus while in Liberia, and was being treated at a Dallas Hospital since returning to the United States. He was being treated with the experimental drug brincidofovir, when his condition degraded from serious to critical on Tuesday. The 42-year-old was then pronounced dead at 7:51AM on Wednesday.

As a result of the Ebola scare in the U.S., five airports will now be doing additional screening of passengers for signs of the deadly virus. Those airports include JFK in New York, Newark Airport in New Jersey, DC-Dulles, Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta, and Chicago O'Hare. TSA agents have been instructed to keep an eye out for any Ebola symptoms that may develop in passengers traveling from West Africa.
