Residents of Eden can sleep well knowing they live in one of the safest towns in the state.  Town Supervisor Missy Hartmann told the Eden Town Board Wednesday night that Eden emerged as New York State's 15th Safest Town, according to statistics released by the website CreditDonkey.com.

CreditDonkey.com is a credit card comparison and financial education website that analyzes statistics to help people save money and make good financial decisions.  And based on crime statistics, knowing where to buy a home or to start a business is a good financial decision.

So congratulations to the Eden Police Department on a job well done. From the Dari Queen and the Kazoo Factory to the Corn Festival grounds, Eden Ale House, Lang-Gro Fertilizer and all the homes and farms across the town, you can rest-assured your safety is under watchful eyes.
