"Doh!"  Or maybe we should all be saying, "Uh-Oh!"  There's word this morning FOX can't afford to keep "The Simpsons" on the air unless its voice actors take a 45-percent pay cut!

MSNBC  is among the news outlets reporting this morning that FOX Television  has issued a statement regarding "The Simpsons"  future on its network:

"We believe this brilliant series can and should continue, but we cannot produce future seasons under its current financial model."

There are reports the primary cast members earn eight-million-dollars a year and FOX is asking for a 45-percent pay cut.  The show is in its' 23rd year on Fox.  "The Simpsons" is the longest running comedy on U.S. television.
