Watching growth in Western New York has become a regular event over the past few years. Now, the new $900-million Solar City complex will not only be the second largest solar panel production site in the world, it will also feature office and retail space.

The Solar City Plaza will be located on the RiverBend in South Buffalo.

Buffalo Rising posted:

The Buffalo Planning Board reviewed plans for an office and retail building across the street from the SolarCity plant today. Mechanical Contracting firm John W. Danforth is working with JT Vaeth LLC to construct a two-story, 18,000 square foot building at 1160 South Park Avenue. Tim Horton’s will occupy one of three storefront’s planned for the building.

We're waiting on planning board approval along with the common council going along with the additions and then the growth will be set in motion.
