Do you go home from work and look online for a new job? Do you want to make more money than what you are making now? Then you should plan to be at the Western New York Diversity Job Fair today!

Writing a resume can be hard, but here are a few key tips when it comes to a resume.

1. Proofread! Nothing looks worse than a typo or misspelling on a resume. Read it through twice, and then walk away for a few minutes, and then come back and look through it again, or get a fresh set of eyes to look at it.

2. Use Figures! Don't just highlight your achievements -- express it in numerical form. "Increased revenue by 40 percent in the first three months I was employed," for example.

3. 1-2 Pages Max! When it comes to the length of a resume, most people say it should be one to two pages at most. Make sure to include all the information necessary, but try to keep it as short as possible.

So you wrote a killer resume, and now you have an interview scheduled. This was always the most nerve-racking point for me. When you go into the interview, be sure to dress professionally, have a few extra copies of your resume and references, and don't be nervous. Click the button below to find some questions you should keep in mind to ask during the interview.
