Once the snow (if it actually ever stops in Western New York).

Since this Winter is NEVER ENDING...the stink bugs are expected to start emerging and going wild once we get a stretch of nice weather. They find shelter in homes once they come out of hirbnating and while you think 'HOW DID THEY GET IN MY HOUSE?'--you're certainly not alone.

Keep in mind that they are harmless, but don't be surprised if you see a ton this year!

WHATEVER YOU DO--DO NOT SUCK THEM UP WITH THE VACUUM! (It makes it smell)

The best way to keep stink bugs out of a home is to take action in the summer and fall by closing up tiny holes using caulk. Once stink bugs are in a home, they will mostly hibernate quietly without doing any damage, according to WIVB.

People say the best way is to use a light trap. Make an aluminum foil pan, put some water and dish soap in there and put a desk light over the top so the bugs get attracted to the light and die.
