This Sinead O’Connor Song Still Brings Tears To My Eyes Today [VIDEO]

As the summer of 1990 approached I had to come to grips with the fact that my fiance and I were not going to get married. I deserved it. Call it a causality of my roaring 20s. I can take it, right? But when this video starting playing on VH1, the waterworks flowed!

Hard to believe that “Nothing Compares 2 U,” which was written in the mid-1980s by Prince, is now 25 years old! Yet, I just don't think the song would have had the impact had Prince sung it.

"Tell me baby, where did I go wrong?" Yeah, that's I was asking 25 years ago, yet, I knew the answer, as tears streamed down my cheeks. I still get misty today. Okay, time to move on.

I have to say, great job Sinead O'Connor, especially with the lip-synching in the video...flawless! But, did ya have to tear up a photo of Pope John Paul II on Saturday Night Live?
