I have always been a believer in karma and the mere fact that there is a reason for just about anything... Well, something miraculous happened to me over the weekend and I wanted to share with you...I am truly blessed

Life can be really weird sometimes. We wake up, go to work, take care of the kids, and do it all over again the next day. It can be very easy to go on auto pilot.

Well,  I went out to Rochester with a few of my friends on Saturday night and we saw The Whiz at The Lyric Theater. It was a cute production and I really enjoyed the bonding time with my besties.

After hanging out with them, I decided to hang out with my other set of friends. (I have many) and he was hanging with his sister. I decided to chit chat, listen to some great music and enjoy a little back and forth banter that we always do when we get together.

Well, when I was ready to head home I said my, "Good-byes" and my friend insisted he walk me to my car. I told him, "Nah stay with your sister, I'll be fine." But he was persistent and decided to walk me to my car.

We had a little chit chat and some more back and forth banter and I got in my car to make the long trek home.

Well, it was horrible weather on Saturday night and the rain was pouring down and the trucks were kicking up more water from the puddles... You could barely see.

The car in front of me slammed on the brakes abruptly as he braced himself and hit a deer head on.  Luckily, I wasn't following too close and was able to stop in time. No damage to myself or my car.  However, the driver in the head on collision with the deer went into cardiac arrest and didn't make it. Buffalo is truly the city of good neighbors as many people pulled over to help. I couldn't help but say a little prayer for him and his family...

I kept thinking, if my friend didn't walk me to my car and we didn't have that back and forth banter,it could have been me.

It was very traumatic for me to see but it really made me think...

Cherish your lives! The good, the bad, and everything in between.

Life is far too short and you don't know what could happen in the blink of an eye.

Stay well!
