Since 2008 the Peace Bridge connecting us to Canada has been a glow with hundreds of state-of-the-art LED lights. Did you know that the change in colors represents many different causes?

For example on February 6th and the 21st you'll likely see plenty of red as the lights represent the American Heart Association. On the 23rd of February the lights are for National Eating Disorders Awareness week and the 26th the different colors are for Epilepsy Awareness.

Do you have a cause that you'd like up in lights? Your organization can request the bridge to be lit up in your honor this year but first you must fill in the application.
The Peace Bridge Authority does consider lighting requests from the general public but there are certain criteria as determined by PBA you must meet.
