About a year ago, someone walked into Rosa's pizza place in Philly.  They asked if they could pay an extra dollar to buy a slice for a homeless person.

Since then, thousands of people have done it too.

The owner, Mason Wartman, started putting Post-It notes on the wall every time someone donated a slice.

In 9 months, over 8,400 people have paid it forward.

Last week, Mason was on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to talk about it.  Ellen decided to make her own contribution.....
