2. Skate at Nathan Phillips Square: Toronto's famous ice rink is set in the unique urban backdrop of sparkling lights and features a huge holiday tree. Located at 100 Queen Street West, the rink is easily accessed by the TTC Queen street car or the Yonge Line subway.

The Lowe's Toronto Christmas Market: "Inspired by the Old World and influenced by the New" the free annual market features hundreds of handcrafted products, family friendly entertainment such as musicians, carolers and children's choirs. There are kid friendly activities on Santa's Lane including a Ferris Wheel and Merry-go-Round. Santa will also be at the Toronto Christmas Market every day to take pictures. The market opens Friday, November 28 and remains open through Sunday, December 21 at the Distillery Historic District.
