Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown announced his desire to place a large supermarket in the downtown Buffalo area, and a national chain is already jumping at the opportunity.

Tops Friendly Markets said that they are ready to seize the opportunity to put a store downtown, and the location would be perfect for them.

The new location could possibly include new condos a public garage for parking.
