U.S. Marshals in Buffalo captured a suspect wanted in connection to a quadruple homicide in Petersburg, Virginia. Alexander Hill, Jr. was arrested just after 10:00A.M. on Thursday at St. Luke's Mission of Mercy on Walden Street. He was then arraigned in front of a Federal Magistrate Court judge in Buffalo.

Alexander Hill, Jr. was wanted on four first-degree murder counts for the quadruple murder of Pauline Wilkins, her daughter Vicki Chavis Ansar, granddaughter Tanique Davis and great grandson Delvari Chavis on Harding Street.

Hill had been the subject of a nationwide manhunt for over a year, and has been living in Buffalo for at least a month, under the name Trent Dales.

A CBS affiliate in Virginia says that over $15,000 in rewards have been offered for the capture of Alexander Hill, Jr. and family members are relieved that their search is over.

He will face a judge in Buffalo before being extradited to Virginia.
