Fasten your seat belts because here we go again! A school district that is constantly under fire for poor student performance, a poor graduation rate, and high absenteeism is about to commit another major public relations error!

The soap opera that is the Buffalo Public School System is about to layoff 250 employees, while Superintendent James A. Williams wants to create a new non-union position while the pink slips go out! The plan is to add an executive director for restart and compliance — who would be responsible for overseeing the persistently lowest-achieving schools.

My Facebook page was burning up this morning with outrage from friends who can not understand how this can happen. Logic would tell you to use the money to bring back teachers so our children can learn. But from what I see, logic is in short supply in the Buffalo School System. What do you think?
