Everyone's got their favorites!

My family (as you may have guessed) is a little "less traditional".  Instead of "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Miracle on 34th Street", my family gathers around "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation".

Instead of "Silent Night", we sing "Mele Kalikimaka".

We're weird.  Or are we?

Just for fun, take these two (totally and completely unscientific) polls!  We'll give you the results tomorrow!

First up, movies!  St. Leo University Polling Institute asked what America's favorite Christmas Movie was...and over half of respondents said they also love Hallmark, Lifetime, and other holiday specials.

Nationwide results:

  1. Miracle on 34th Street
  2. A Charlie Brown Christmas
  3. A Christmas Story
  4. A Christmas Carol

What about you, Buffalo?

Next up, carols!  The same polling institute asked about America's favorite Christmas carol.  Apparently, they just don't write 'em like they used to...back in 1818.

Nationwide results:

  1. Silent Night
  2. White Christmas
  3. Jingle Bells
  4. O Come All Ye Faithful

What about you, Buffalo?
