Watch Police Lapel Cam Footage of an Officer Shot During Traffic Stop [GRAPHIC VIDEO]

With all talk about police officers extending their authority and using excessive force, we though we'd share with you some video that graphically shows just how dangerous their job is. Albuquerque, New Mexico police have recently released video of Officer Lou Golson, a former Marine and veteran officer, being shot at during a routine traffic stop.

After being shot at, Officer Golson was still able to give a description of the shooter. You'll hear “Blue jacket. Running northbound. San Mateo. Blue hat and blue jeans.” You'll also see the assailant flee the scene.

Finally, Officer Golson is expected to survive the shooting and is being treated for his injuries.
