Wegmans on Top of National Grocery Store Survey

Way-to-go (once again) Wegmans!  One of several Buffalonian favorite grocery store chains in the area has won another title – America's Favorite Grocery Store! Even beating out favorite Trader Joe's in a survey.

In Market Force Information’s annual Retail Grocery Study, 76 percent of Wegmans customers gave the company top scores in satisfaction. Publix (my favorite when visiting Florida) scored 75 percent; Trader Joe’s comes in third at 73 percent.

Rebecca Scanlan, a spokeswoman for Market Force told the Buffalo News,

“It suggests that Wegmans has grown in popularity and continues to attract a loyal following, more shoppers are doing their primary grocery shopping at Wegmans.”
