According to these laws, you're probably a level 6 felon by now.

I was pokin' around the internet, looking for a unique recipe.  And when you're searching for anything "unique", the internet can point you in LOTS of weird directions.  And somehow, I stumbled across weird things that are illegal in New York State.

"Blue Laws" almost always began with some kind of religious reasoning, aiming to curb certain behaviors on days of holy observance, typically Sundays.

For instance, did you know that it's illegal to "congregate in public with two or more people while each wearing a mask or any; face covering which disguises your identity"?  Seems pretty specific, which laws often need to be...but it also kinda puts a damper on Halloween, no? Here's more on that law.

It's also illegal in New York to throw a ball at someone's head for fun (does this mean it's ok to do in anger?).  This totally ruins dodgeball for all of us.

You may not, under any circumstance, walk around on Sundays with an ice cream cone in your pocket.  Sundaes on a Sunday? Totally ok.

Did you speak to anyone in an elevator?  CRIMINAL! While riding in an elevator, you must talk to no one, and fold your hands while looking toward the door.

There are TONS more...but we'd like to know, what silly thing would YOU like to see made into a law?

Eric thinks it should be illegal for cashiers to say "Out of twenty?" when you pay for something with a $20 bill.

I'd like to see cops come in and throw cuffs on someone if they talk during a movie.  Mandatory jail time for ruining my $12 excursion.
