Friday and Saturday, Frightworld Lights Out. You’ll be in the darkness, armed with just one glow stick, and experience all their haunted houses for one last time this season.

Saturday, November 5 11am, Veteran’s Day Parade, beginning at the intersection of Virginia Street and Delaware Avenue. The route will follow down Delaware Avenue, ending in front of Buffalo City Hall.

Two options for free movies for kids on Saturday… The Angry Birds Movie – at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Rd., Amherst. Crafts & games before the show 12:30pm-1:30pm. Movie starts at 1:30pm; Shea’s Free Family Film Series featuring ZATHURA – A Space Adventure, Rated PG, 2pm, tickets available at Wegmans.

Sunday November 6, 10am – 3pm, at Kleinhans Music Hall, Buffalo: WNY Children’s Book Expo -- 36 international, national & local children’s authors and illustrators, free.
