We all have moments in our life that stand out as we look back. I love watching my kids make memories like that. We were lucky enough this past weekend to make a few, and even luckier to capture them in photos!

We had a major sports weekend in the Hagen house! My son, Ryan, his baseball team was in a local baseball tournament in Lancaster. Meanwhile, my daughter, Jenna, was playing in a lacrosse tournament in Sackets Harbor, NY.

Jen and I traveled down the Thruway to Syracuse, then made our way north to Watertown on Friday afternoon. We spent the evening with friends from the team, then early in the morning headed to the fields in Sackets Harbor for the "1812 Shoot Out." The girls made out well, ending with a 2-2 record and creating memories of a weekend spent with good friends in a gorgeous setting!  I love how the girls click both on and off the field, it's so much fun!

We made it home Saturday evening just in time to catch part of Ryan's ballgame and find out his team, Lancaster Blue, made it into the semifinals on Sunday! Blue managed to beat a very competitive team from Orchard Park on Sunday morning and later in the day defeated a team from Lou Gehrig in extra innings to win the "Silver Division" Championship!  My favorite moment was the celebration that followed the last out, a strikeout!  What a great day for "the boys of Blue." The kind of day they'll remember years from now.

What's your favorite childhood memory?
