It's a necessary evil for most of us if we want to get anywhere – you're going to have to fuel up at some point.

I honestly don't make it a habit of noticing gas prices, mainly because when I need it, I need it.

And if you're like me, you stretch it until the last possible moment.  The "E" on my gas gauge generally stands for "Ehhhhh I can make it..."

I know some people who can pinpoint the cheapest gas – to the penny – at any given time. I wish I had enough patience for that, and I'd just as soon not drive all over, wasting the tablespoon or so I have left, trying to save 60 cents.

You've probably noticed gas prices have risen about the $2 mark and very rapidly so. The last time I filled up, maybe a week and a half ago, it was around $2.09. Today, I paid $2.18 (again, I was tickling the "E" pretty harsh).

Where are gas prices consistently the cheapest in your neighborhood?

Will you go out of your way to fill up there?

Check out this handy site too....it can help in a pinch!
