The shift change begins at “The Office” tonight.  Will Ferrell will begin his stint as an interim manager DeAngelo Vickers on the NBC hit show this evening.  Vickers will step in to manage Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch.  Ferrell’s character arrives following an announcement from longtime manager Michael Scott that he’s off to Colorado with his true love, Holly Flax.  Ferrell says he has enjoyed the role, adding DeAngelo and Michael seem “cut from the same cloth.”

Tonight’s special episode is part of a lead-up to Carell’s final show on April 28th.  That special 50-minute broadcast will also feature cameos from stars like Ray Romano, Ricky Gervais, and Will Arnett.
