Doesn't just the mention of Winnie the Pooh, make you smile?

Well, guess what an original hand-drawn map of Winnie-the-Pooh's Hundred Acre Woods sold for yesterday at Sotheby's in London?

How about $571,000, amazing, right?   Well, the seller of that map, without GPS even, must be smiling today!  The EH Shepard Sketch features Pooh and Christopher Robin, plus landmarks like "Bee Tree" and "Eeyore's Gloomy Place."

Well, you and I may not be able to afford such a lovely illustration.  But, we can always have Pooh wisdom.  Here are two of my favorite thoughts from A A. Milne the author of all those enchanting Pooh books.

“Some people care too much. I think it's called love.” &  “You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”
