To sum up, Chautauqua and Southern Erie counties are the areas to be on alert, and you're looking at storm totals in the range of "it missed us totally" to more than two feet in persistent areas. Snow will begin late tonight (overnight) into Saturday morning.

* TIMING...FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH LATE FRIDAY NIGHT.

* ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 6 INCHES THURSDAY...7 TO 13 INCHES 
  THURSDAY NIGHT...5 TO 10 INCHES FRIDAY...AND 3 TO 6 INCHES 
  FRIDAY NIGHT...LEADING TO STORM TOTALS OF MORE THAN 2 FEET IN 
  THE MOST PERSISTENT LAKE SNOWS.

* WINDS...WEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES...AS LOW AS A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW WILL
  LEAD TO SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW ON AREA ROADWAYS AND
  VERY POOR VISIBILITIES AT TIMES...RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS TO
  NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TRAVEL CONDITIONS AT TIMES WITHIN THE MOST
