The winter weather is coming to New York and ahead of a weekend where a massive snowstorm will impact parts of New York, the National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Watches for several different parts of the state.

A massive storm is moving up the East Coast and it is set to bring plenty of snow with it this weekend.

The National Weather Service in Albany has also issued a Winter Storm Watch for this weekend. Some areas of Eastern New York could see over 12 inches of snow.

The good news is that New York City looks like it will be spared from heavy snow from this storm. Earlier this week, it looked like the storm was going to cross right over the city, but now it looks like only a couple of inches of snow will come down over the weekend.
