It looks like Winter is coming a tab bit early to Western New York!

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for much of Western New York Friday night into Saturday afternoon.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 1 PM EST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3
  to 5 inches expected in the most persistent lake snows.

* WHERE...Northern Erie and Genesee counties. Generally along and
  south of a Buffalo to Batavia line.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to 1 PM EST Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
  Visibilities will be reduced in falling and blowing snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If
traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and
visibilities.

Please make sure to be careful if you have to be on the roads this weekend.
