Extremely cold temperatures are putting grapes, cherries and even apples in jeopardy all across the Niagara Frontier.

"It's devastating," Peter Gugino, who has a farm in Brant, NY said. "You get nothing out of the grapes. There's no bunches of grapes. It's all vines and leaves - you get nothing out of them."

It is late March, but vines in our area think it is mid-April. Eyewitness News meteorologist Mike Randall this morning said that most areas near the lakes dropped to the mid-20's, but the teens weren't out of the question, inland.
