June is a big month of celebration for both graduates and fathers.

Graduation is a milestone to many people, while fatherhood is a milestone and more!

Last year I was the one going thru photo albums, sobbing hysterically as my two daughters, Shaylah and Angel, walked down the aisle of the auditorium to receive their high school diplomas....

Both girls were blessed to be graduating as both have struggled with learning issues in school. Thanks to an angel named Gwen, MY Angel was able to catch up after many years of no education living in Africa and graduate with her class.  Shaylah also struggled with ADD and was fortunate to graduate with her class and go on to college.

Even though I was so proud of them and so excited, I sobbed like a baby realizing a chapter of their lives, OUR lives, was closing and another one opening.

This year it's my sister DeAnna and brother Timmy who are going thru baby photos and wondering where the years went.  My sis and her husband John only have one son, Dalton, who's a bit of a brainiac...and they are extremely close as a family.  I am already prepared with a case of Kleenex and a few boxes of chocolates to get my sister thru the next few weeks...

If you have a child or grandchild who is graduating, may the tears of joy be more than the tears of sadness as this door closes and the next opens...and may God keep them safe as they take their first steps into the big world!

I will be here to help you celebrate grads and dads the entire month of June and help you kick off the summer season with fun, sun and songs, so please call in and brag on someone you love. My number is 1-888-633-5452 and you can reach me thru email at
