Another local TV reporter posted on her social media that she is leaving after being on the job for six years.


Church did not mention where she is headed next.

There have been some big changes at WGRZ over the past several months. Michael Wooten who anchored the 5:30 pm news left the station at the end of August and later reappeared at WKBW Channel 7 as their 5:30 pm news anchor.

The Buffalo TV market has seen several reporters and meteorologists leave this past year as well.

Former Channel 4 WIVB meteorologist Jordyn Jenna announced on her social media that she is no longer with the station. Her contract expired and she did not renew with the company.


Jenna had been with Channel 4 for two years. She is the second meteorologist to leave the Buffalo market in the past 30 days. It was also just a couple of weeks ago that Carl Lam, who did weekend weather on Channel 2 WGRZ-Tv announced he would be stepping away from that role.
