Ah, nothing like the sight of a feline with catnip. In this case, maybe just a little too much!

So what is Catnip? It's a perennial herb and member of the Mint family called Labiatae. It is well known for it's ability to get a kitty, shall we say...high! Sometimes cats will become aggressive, amorous or just plain sleepy.

Originally found in Europe & Asia, it can now be found in the U.S. and Canada. I found out there are about 250 species of Catnip and as best as I have researched, it is not harmful to your kitty but it's probably best not to let them overindulge. It's a puuuuurrrrr-fect way to let your cat have a little fun!
